Shanin Lee Marsh Turner

It took me a while to decide whether I would write this review but I think everyone (especially someone who has never navigated within the legal system) should be informed. I hired Shanin a few years ago after being blindsided by my ex husband. Back then, I had never really worked with an attorney s...o I had no idea what to expect. Shanin seemed aggressive (which I thought was what you’d want in an attorney), however, she was very condescending. Some of the comments that she made to me were highly inappropriate and just mean. At that time, I was extremely stressed and just wanted to move forward so I went along with what I thought was best for my child. I provided information that she completely ignored because I’m assuming my case wasn’t significant for her. Fast forward to most recently. I was dreading having to work with another attorney because of how things panned out with Shanin and how alone and uninformed I felt alone throughout the entire process. I’ve recently worked with another attorney regarding the same situation. It was an entirely different experience. I didn’t realize how horrible my experience was with Shanin until working with someone else and having another experience to compare it to. If you’re not versed in the legal system and looking for someone to guide you and really advocate for your best interest, just know there are kind attorneys out there who will take the time to explain things and provide you with the best guidance. Shanin definitely did not provide that type of experience.

A friend of mine referred me to a lawyer, for advice, who specialized in child custody law suits, it was Shanin Turner. During that brief discussion, Shanin was direct and to the point on actions that were needed in our case. We did not retain her at that time but 6 months later we did. She under...stood our challenges both personal, legal and how to proceed. We needed someone to fight for us during this difficult time and Shanin did. She's professional, insightful and honestly, she's a tiger. My wife and I are so grateful we had her represent us. Thank you!

Shanin did a great deal and fought hard for my daughter and I! We couldn't be more happy with the outcome! Unfortunately I had to start the SAPCR filing on my own due to time/monetary restraints. The other party hired an attorney last minute before the first hearing and I basically got bullied out of... court representing myself in my daughter's interest.
