Great results!

I hired Jon for my divorce after firing my first attorney, in early 2013. My first attorney gave me poor advice, and so I started with less than adequate custody. Jon helped me fight for 50/50 which I got in late 2013. He then again stepped up to bat for me when in October of 2014 CPS essentially too...k my son away from my ex, and he succeeded in getting me permanent sole custody. He was never once late with a document, late to court, or late to a meeting. Anytime something came up, I was contacted as far as possible in advance to let me reschedule (and remember, this happens ALOT with lawyers - don't be offended, it's just how the court system works!). Along the way (over two years) there were a few times (two or three) when calls or emails to Jon's office took a little longer than I expected to be answered, but all-in all Jon and his staff were excellent, and I could not be happier with the outcome! I have no qualms about recommending him, and would absolutely use him again.

Fully Probated Suspension issued in TX, 2003

updated on 06/04/2007

Fully probated suspension means an attorney is technically suspended but may still practice law. The State monitors the lawyer's activities during the suspension to make sure that he or she does not repeat the behavior.

Jon’s comment:

“This action resulted during a difficult personal time due to family medical issues about 10 years ago. I was distracted from the practice and did not have adequate staff for a brief period. Since that time I've ensured that the office is always properly staffed and I have more tightly controlled our case levels so that each client always receives prompt and direct service from me. No complaints or disciplinary actions have occurred since.”

Partially Probated Suspension issued in TX, 2002

updated on 03/21/2011

Partially Probated Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. When the attorney returns to practice, he or she will be on probation, meaning the State monitors the attorney's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
