Barrett A. Stern brings nearly two decades of litigation and collaborative practice to his family law clients. After graduating from Syracuse University—where he earned an academic scholarship, played varsity soccer and received two departmental awards—he obtained his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law and was licensed by the Texas Supreme Court in 2002. Barrett initially honed his advocacy skills as a civil litigator representing major corporations nationwide before focusing exclusively on family law. Today, he blends trial-tested strategies with collaborative methods to guide clients through complex issues involving assets, debts, businesses, custody and support. A five-time Texas Rising Star, Barrett is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Texas and holds memberships in multiple bar and collaborative law associations. Beyond the office, he volunteers as a youth soccer coach and serves on the boards of Legacy Senior Communities and other nonprofits.
