Jeff Domen is a miracle worker. I came to him with an impossible case and he not only took on my enemy (my ex) he plowed over him like an M1 Abrams army tank would anything in its path!!! That sounds like an exaggeration, but it is so true. All I had to do was climb on board and Domen methodically m...arched us through some very ugly terrain. At every crossroad, or new ugly twist that was attempted by my ex, Domen, with such calmness and assurance handled my fears, my doubt and my impatience. He always kept me informed. He always responded to my emails or text in a timely manner. Even though the opposing counsel tried to delay and drag this divorce out, Domen kept the hammer down and pushed us through. His jovial and kind demeanor was such a comfort to me when things really got tough. His wisdom and shrewd strategies always kept me in a position of having the upper hand. There is no doubt in my mind, without Jeff Domen my children and I wouldn’t be happily sitting in Louisiana surrounded by family and friends living our best life. Divorcing with children involved is highly complicated. Divorcing with children involved and wanting to move back to your home state from Texas is impossible...... unless you hire Jeff Domen. I was referred to Mr Doman by a trusted counselor. I felt divinely protected through the entire process. I knew I was in the right place from the very first appointment. Mr Doman handled my divorce case with outstanding efficiency and solid wise advise from start to finish. He also referred me to an... exemplary tax attorney who is a master at navigating complicated tax issues and fought for my best interest. Mr Domens' staff worked with me every step of the way to keep the cost as reasonable as possible. Divorce is awful but it was much easier with Mr Domen on my side. "Jeff is a likable person and comes off very confident, however, if you need someone trustworthy that puts your interest first I would not recommend him. Most times I was lucky if he remembered my name much less anything contained in my orders. He connected me with a parenting facilitator that worked... best with him, not me. Eventually I started to control the collaboration time spent between himself and the parenting facilitator to control billable time. Jeff immediately decided it wasn't worth his time to work for me anymore. As a result, the parenting facilitator stopped communicating with me and assumed she could 'stand down' as well. Another display of incompetence was the drug testing facility he choose for us. They reported positive results to opposing counsel even though I sent them my prescription history which was in accordance with the test results. We had to get the testing facility to supplement a statement to opposing counsel so my ex didn't bury me in court over the 'false positive' originally sent to opposing counsel. Other testing facilities verify prescription history before reporting positive results to avoid confusion. When I expressed regret with his choice, he argued with me and keep defending the facility as if they were his client instead of me. The overall experience with Jeff was unsatisfactory and unprofessional given his pay rate.
