Donna Jean Jackson

Donna J. Jackson is a nationally recognized attorney, authority, speaker and educator in estate planning. Ms. Jackson is a CPA and holds a Master Degree (LL.M.) in Elder Law. Ms. Jackson has over 24 years of legal experience; she limits her practice to estate planning with an emphasis on Medicaid, VA Benefits and special needs planning, including trusts, special needs trusts, wills, durable power of attorneys and living wills. In addition, Ms. Jackson’s practice includes taxes, corporate, trust, individual, gift and estate, probates and business organizations, including corporations, limited partnerships and limited liability companies.

Ms. Jackson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1988, and LL.M. in Elder Law from Stetson College of Law in Florida. She currently serves on the Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Section Committee for the Oklahoma Bar Association. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, American Bar Association, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Oklahoma State Society of CPAs, Wealth Counsel, Elder Counsel, and Academy of Special Needs Planners.

Ms. Jackson has been a keynote speaker for the Oklahoma Bar Association, Strafford, and National Business Institute (NBI). Donna J. Jackson has also presented hundreds of seminars on estate, tax and related topics to the general public, to various major corporations and their employees, including Oklahoma State University, and to CPAs, financial planners and attorneys. She was honored as one of the 2011 Five Star Wealth Managers in Estate Planning in the April 2011 edition of Oklahoma Magazine. Ms. Jackson has also taught as an adjunct professor at Oklahoma City University College of Law. Ms. Jackson received the Earl Sneed Award from the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2013 for her continuing contributions to legal education in Oklahoma.
