|LA||Eligible to practice law||1987||03/06/2017|
This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
This means the attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.
Jeffrey’s comment: “This suspension was related to failure to file and pay taxes.”

Thank you Jeffrey for all that you've done for us. You are truly God sent! All I can say is that Me Jeffrey is not your average lawyer he wasn't cocky and he wasn't full of himself..... lawyers these days seem to forget that we are the ones hiring them and not the other way around. Mr. Jeffrey was not only knowledgeable but he was very sympathetic in regards to my case. He always returned back my phone calls and replied back to all my emails. He always kept me up to date in regards to my case. Mr. Jeffrey you have given me hope that justice still exists. Thank you for giving me a breath of fresh air.

I called Atty. Wittenbrink because I was hoping to get free legal advice on which would win out in a conflict: Would a current US Supreme Court ruling win if a local court rule said the opposite in its interpretation of point of law? I was hoping that since he (a lawyer) and I (a non-lawyer) were both trying to effect similar positive changes in a certain unnamed legal case, he would be sympathetic to me. He knew I was asking for free legal advice and was not able to pay him a dime, but he spent a good deal of his own time going over many aspects of my case, wherein I am attempting to directly intervene AND join (joinder) an existing case challenging a law that affects me, and where my interests are not fully represented by the existing parties - thus giving me legal right to intervene and/or join.
I decided to look him up on the web, and found this - and see he was disciplined over 10 years ago for apparently failing to pay or withhold some tax for some employee. (As is alluded to in this ad, here which says: "This lawyer has been disciplined by a state licensing authority.")
He has no idea I'm writing this - and did not ask me to write a review. (In fact, *I* had no idea that I was going to write a review.)
So, in short, while he may have made some mistakes in the past, I would trust him, if for no other reason than that he tried to help me - at length - knowing full well I was too poor to pay him, and not close enough to even visit him and offer free labour.
I'll sign with my real name to verify: as I do not wish to damage my reputation for propagating falsehoods, you can rest assured that as least I think I am correct on the main points here: He is knowledgeable on a wide range of areas in law and - more importantly - a person oh honour and integrity.

You won't find a better, more competent and caring attorney than Mr. Wittenbrink! He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the law. He is aggressive in his representation of you and does not get bullied by the antics of other attorneys. He will stand up for you and your case. His personal commitment to doing the best job for his clients is the most impressive I've ever seen! I've known him for 25 years and my positive impression of him as a lawyer, and as a person, has only increased over time.

Jeff Wittenbrink worked tirelessly on my case, and made me feel like his most important client. He always knew the particulars of my case, and returned my calls promptly. He was able to get me primary custody of my 2-yr old daughter, with my ex-wife paying child support. I cannot recommend him more highly. He is calm, thoughtful, and yet diligent and forceful.

Attorney Jeffrey Wittenbrink was able to show the court that I should have joint custody of my children, after having supervised visitation. His ethical knowledge proved to be crucial during the questioning of the opposing party's Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who was shown to be highly unethical.
Since my case involves my children, I can be a difficult client at times. I also have an extremely complex, unusual case. During court, Jeffrey did an excellent job of paying attention to me while remaining focused on the task at hand. Way to go!
Stephen Carleton, Employment and labor Attorney
I endorse Jeff for family law as he is board certified in this field and a very diligent, hard working attorney. He puts his clients needs above his own on a regular basis and keeps his client's cases moving so that an early and efficient conclusion is achieved whenever possible.
