Got off to a bumpy start but he really came through!

This is an update to a review I posted about Jeff. I was confused as to who was holding up the progress of my case and was upset with Jeff. As time passed it became very clear that Jeff was doing all he could for me and the opposing counsel was dragging her feet and thus causing my frustration. I had... been working outside of the US and communication with Jeff wasn't the greatest for obvious reasons however once I returned and brought my issues to his attention, he immediately did everything he could to rectify the situation and represent me. So I think it is only fair to give the man credit where credit is due and amend my initial review, especially given the fact that new information came available to me and I could clearly see that he was working hard on my case and the opposition was being very unprofessional and uncooperative. The man worked hard and got my case resolved and I am thankful to him for that.

Suspension Deferred With Probation issued in LA, 2003

updated on 01/12/2021

Suspension deferred means the attorney has been suspended, but that the suspension is placed on hold (and ultimately removed) if the attorney complies with certain requirements.

Jeffrey’s comment:

“This suspension was related to failure to file and pay taxes, and not related to any client complaints or legal malpractice.”

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline
This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2003
Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
