My divorce experience was very well managed as a result of John Kinney's skills, knowledge and tenure in divorce law. John is very organized; his communication skills are stellar. He guided me with regards to what we needed and he listened to me regarding my expectations. He is very specific. He was ...well prepared for the depositions / interrogatory and was able to get additional information during that setting. John is a good judge of character and was able to ‘read’ my ex well during the interrogatory’s which prepared but he and I with what we might expect at trial. He was very well prepared during the divorce hearing and did an excellent job protecting me and standing on my behalf. He made me aware of any risks I might be taking, and guided me very well through a scary process. Post-divorce my ex didn’t like the results; he felt I was awarded too much. John was very thorough and direct during the seconds session which resulted in the final decision being “no change” to the original decree. John and his team at Kinney/Mason are top shelf professionals! I highly recommend John Kinney. He delivered on every level. I am very pleased he was my divorce attorney and will remain my attorney if I ever need one in the future.

After spending tons of money on big firm attorneys who claim to look out for your best interest (but only rack up your bill), John was recommended to me. His reputation and respect from other Omaha attorneys was evident from the beginning of my case until the final outcome...which was EXACTLY what I... wanted. If you are looking for an attorney who will win in the end, John is your guy. If you want to cry on your attorney's shoulder (while being billed at $400 per hour), he's not. Every other attorney I have met in this town will try to goad you into sending as many emails, phone calls and meeting requests just to drain your wallet for a crappy outcome. Having been through the courts three times for divorce, custody, personal property and support recalculation suits I have learned that our court system is dreadfully SLOW and it's the nature of the game. John is the best, and he won't play the attorney game of draining your pocket book like everyone else in this town. I highly recommend him and his firm.

Divorce is a difficult and an all-around miserable process. It was the most difficult experience in my life thus far. Trusting someone with your well-being and in my case, my child's well-being was not easy. I am very thankful for John Kinney and his team. His experience and knowledge on divorce,... child custody and the court system was clear throughout the process. The team in the office is accessible and knowledgeable as well. John guided me through a difficult custody battle. He was able to negotiate a fair property settlement for me and his skills in the courtroom awarded me the joint custody that I sought. What I respect most about John is that he was honest and upfront with me from my initial consultation to the moments after my trial. John is an excellent attorney and I am forever grateful for the extra time he helped me get with my daughter.

To rate Kinney Law, you would need much more than just 5 stars. In my custody case John and his staff have gone above and beyond anything I could have expected. From the start of my case I thought my world was coming to an end and John and his staff took the time to help me understand how we were go...ing to approach the case legally, as well as, showed me the compassion to help me personally feel better again. The legal knowledge that John and his staff has is phenomenal, and assisted me in my case in ways I never imagined.
