John Andrew Kinney

John was arrogant and disrespectful from the beginning of the divorce process. In my consult with him, he told me he was one of the best, if not THE best, divorce attorney in Omaha (HAHA)! He called me names over the phone, disrespected my wishes when it came to depositions or trial representation,... and was the ultimate reason my divorce ended worse than it started. The decree was 100% written by my spouses attorney, contained much personal and mental health related information and was not signed by John. During trial and depositions, he didn't refute information that wasn't factual, was downright untrue or much of it that was out of date. He literally got DESTROYED by my wife's attorney in every, and I do mean EVERY, aspect of my case. His lack of effort or knowledge of the law directly resulted in me losing tens of thousands of dollars, household items and ultimately (and hopefully just temporarily) my daughters. He's about as worthless as an attorney as he is a human being. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.

I called John after a disappointing result from my case using another attorney. He helped me hash out the pros and cons of an appeal and just gave me just the facts ( NO pressure) Once i gave him the green light his team went to work. It was the first time i felt like someone was finally fighting fo...r me. John attached when he needed to and did not sweat the small stuff. I always got an answer to all my questions and never felt like i was bothering them. There was no hidden costs or fees and everything was upfront. John Kinney made my husband and I feel so comfortable and safe working on our estate planning. Everyone has a story. And a long one at that. What I wanted was for my custody battle to be over with as soon as possible to avoid further damage to my sanity and for the sake of my child. It was very speedy after I walked into John's office. He put a motion in for a hearing within 6 months the who...le thing was over. He did a brilliant job during depositions and was more than prepared. I feel we got what we needed down for the record should any future instances arise. I could always reach John in a timely manner when I needed to consult with him. His paralegal Wendi is an angel. Kind and caring. Exceptional. The office has a great feel to it when you walk in the door. Not your typical law office. My case had pretty extreme emotional abuse going on. That, in court can be like fencing a ghost. John, his office, and his whole team are just all around brilliant. I wish I could tell you who not to hire as I have been down that road. But I can say John is the best lawyer I have had.
