Mr., Garretson is a wonderful lawyer who is very passionate about his role as a defense lawyer. I hired him for an assault case and from day one I began to see tremendous progress. When your son is dating someone with emotional issues, whom is unbalanced, it is scary enough. When your son tries to break it off, and that person takes a whole new trip down crazy road and your son lands up being arrested because of it, it's terrifying. When you've had no legal experience, your f...amily suddenly finds itself thrust into the scary legal world that's revolving around you, and evaluations and appointments and dates are being thrown at you. An appointed attorney who barely takes time to listen to your side of the story is thrown at you, and you fear for your sons' future. We were told for a juvenile criminal case, there was no one better in Johnson County. When we first met Mr. Garretson, we were immediately impressed and put at ease. He took time out of his Saturday morning to meet with us, as we were too anxious to wait until Monday morning. He made us feel a lot better about the situation that we were facing and was upfront and honest throughout the process. For someone who has never been in trouble with the law before I could not have asked for a better attorney to assist me.
