Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
Trey is a fantastic attorney whom I have known since 1991. He is passionate about his clients' cases, appropriately aggressive with opponents, and rock solid on the law and the facts of each case. Trey knows the prosecutors and judges on both sides of the state line, which helps him build credibility with the people who can influence the outcome of cases. I enjoy working with him on co-defendant cases because he challenges everyone involved to push hard for great outcomes, which is what we have gotten for our clients. I have no reservations in endorsing Trey.

Mr. Pettlon is the lawyer that other lawyers will turn to in time of need. This is high praise and it is probably universally the opinion of any member of the Bench or the Bar Association familiar with his work. I have known him for twenty-seven years and have consulted with him on numerous occasions. His ethics are beyond reproach but the thing that separates him is trial experience. For years I kept and reported trial statistics for the Bar Association in one of the larger metropolitan counties where Mr. Pettlon frequently tried cases. His results for his criminal clients were outstanding. Numerous and frequent “not guilty” verdicts in that jurisdiction stand as evidence of his trial skills. I am always amazed when people fail to verify their lawyer's trial experience. While someone has to be a lawyer's "first client," in any particular type of case a "Pettlon client," can rest assured his lawyer has, "been there, done that," many times before.
