Ryan is proud to once again be recognized as a Super Lawyer in 2017. Ryan started representing people charged with crimes and injured or killed by the negligence of others as an associate in the Law Offices of N. Trey Pettlon and then as a partner in the Law Offices of Pettlon & Ginie.

Criminal Defense:

Ryan does primarily criminal defense and has a great deal of experience defending both adults and juveniles who are charged with crimes. Ryan is one of the very few attorneys in Kansas City to win a "Not Guilty by Reason of Mental defect" jury verdict. For several years Ryan gave monthly lectures on juvenile law, and he has extensive experience with every phase of the juvenile case from defending a client against the most serious allegations including sex crimes or other violent crimes to defending a juvenile waived to adult court or certified for adult prosecution.

Personal Injury/Wrongful Death:

Over the years, Ryan has been able to get numerous extraordinary recoveries for clients gravely injured in automobile accidents, trucking accidents, trip and fall cases and dog bite cases.

Grateful for Ryan Ginie

I hired Mr. Ginie for several speeding tickets and also for one case that I needed representation in that went to trial. He is excellent at communicating and advising you of your next steps. Amazing Attorney

Ryan was the best and most organized attorney I’ve ever had. He was always responsive and explained things in detail as far as my options for my 2nd DUI. In the end I trusted his judgment as far as whether to have a trial with a jury or the judge or settle with what the prosecutor offered. We went to trial with the judge and he won! He gave stand up arguments and was very prepared. I am so very grateful that my friend referred him to me! If you are looking for a good DUI attorney he’s your guy!

Professionalism

I retained Ryan Ginie to represent me in a DUI case. He came recommended from a good friend that is also an attorney. Ryan was able to navigate both the criminal and the administrative aspects of the DUI process with nearly no assistance or help from myself, resulting in a complete dismissal of both charges. Best Attorney in KC Area — IMO

Ryan Ginie pulled off a miracle in my case. My BAC was .286 and he got my DWI reduced to an SIS. My case will soon be sealed and it will not be on my record. That alone is enough reason for anyone to decide to hire him. Then, SATOP placed me in the level three, 5 week, 50 hour program and he went to court and got it reduced to the level two weekend program. I like that I had his cell phone number from the beginning and he is prompt to return phone calls and texts. He is very nice, understanding and non-judgmental. If anyone can help your case, it’s Mr. Ginie.

3 charges dismissed!

DWI representation

I hired Ryan to represent me for a DWI arrest that I was clearly at fault. I was referred by a previous client who spoke in the highest regard pertaining to Mr. Ginie's knowledge and expertise. I could not have been happier with his overall handling of the case and the end result. Ryan was professional yet clearly took each case personally and individualized his approach to help that particular client in the best way possible. He was thorough, explained the entire process, and provided an accurate timeline so I could be prepared for any possibility or result. This was important for me because of the possible impact on my professional career. In the end, his excellent approach and judgment as well as his rapport with the judge and other lawyer provided me a result that was more than satisfactory to say the least. DUI Case Resolved
