Without getting too specific with my case I was looking at career ending criminal charges. Matt was not the first attorney I went to but he was definitely the last. From the very minute I talked to him and explained my situation to him I was completely confident and sure he was the right choice. Matt was really just fantastic throughout the months I interacted with him. On the professional side, he always kept me informed of what was happening (or not happening), always replied to my email inquiries in what seemed like seconds, and his demeanor (as well as the demeanor of his partner and the...ir paralegal) was encouraging, supportive, and non-condemning. On the personal side, when I was feeling depressed or anxious over my potential resolution, he always attempted to ease my state of mind, without over-assuring me of anything he couldn’t deliver (And for me, he delivered way more than he assured). He is a lawyer that wants to fight for you, even when you are too scared, or too embarrassed to want to fight for yourself, which is really the best kind of lawyer to have. I got a DWI and during our first meeting he asked me what I wanted from him; obviously to get an SIS. Matt was straightforward and upfront about the worst case scenario, because I'd blown a very high BAC and was incredibly honest with the cop. Even still, he never made me feel judged for my discretio...n and was always respectful. Even when I was balling in his office he kept a light hearted demeanour and set me at ease. He was always reachable by phone and e-mail, even returning my e-mails outside of business hours. I don't plan on continuing my criminal activity, but if God forbid, I'd hire him in a heartbeat! He was in my corner the entire time in and outside of the court room, and low and behold, I was given an SIS! He is a good, honest man and a damn good lawyer.

A good caring lawyer may not be able to give you thier whole life and time but they can definitely give your life back to you when you think you have lost it. There is no better luxury and stress reliver than having a good, caring, knowledgeable, and genuine lawyer on your side. Matthew Russell was... that for me. I spoke to four lawyers befor I spoke to Matt. Everyone else wanted to get right down to business and money was their number one focus. When i walked into Matthews office he first brought me a coffee, we talked about our days and life, my concerns, and just made me feel very comfortable. Every individual has at least one person in his or her life who leaves a great influence on thier lives; Matthew is one of those people. My divorce is now final and matthew delivered everything he promised me he would and the things he could not deliver me he was up front and honest that it would be very difficult to be rewarded to me. So in other words he is not a BSer like most lawyers. And even though my case is now over Matt still checks in on me from time to time just to make sure im doing well. I would 100% recomind Matthew Russell for any case you may have. I am forever greatful for the encouragement not only in my case but as a friend.

Matt was extremely helpful in aiding my husband and I with getting our affairs in order before our first child was born. He assisted us with establishing advanced directives and a trust and walked us through the entire process of understanding and determining who would manage our finances and care fo...r our little girl should something happen to us. He kept us informed all along the process of where we stood and what to expect, making the entire process much more manageable and comfortable for us.
