Matthew Allen Russell

It's not very often that you love an attorney...usually because they are handling some terrible life event. Such was the case for me. I hired Mr. Russell to represent my son who was in some very serious trouble. Most attorneys wanted a huge deposit and expect you to agree to pay a huge hourly sum ...for an unidentified amount of hours. Scary proposition. I was from out of state and didn't know this guy from Adam. He was referred by a close friend in the area who told me he was extremely capable...with a background in prosecutor work...Just the guy you need in a criminal case. He charged me a flat rate. I knew what I was paying so I wasn't bilked each month for more and more money. I had to pay the fee in advance, but that was it. Definately the best attorney by far. I'm a hard one to deal with and get through to. Matt took extra time to get to know me. He was honest and very understanding. He really cared for me as a person not just another case. In the court room he was fully prepared for any arguments brought to the table. ...I was already on probation with an SIS. Had already messed up multiple times and topped it off with a new class B felony an misdemeanor. I was looking at multiple years in DOC and be labeled as a felon. I was dead set on going and wanted to give up. Matt gave me hope and was confident in himself which made me more comfortable . I went before 2 different judges probably the toughest prosecutors and a revocation recommendation from my PO. We won and when I say won I mean I'm not going to prison but the best part is I get to keep an SiS on both counties, and only have to pay a small fine on the misdemeanor. A blessing for sure. I contacted Matthew Russell in September of 2015 about an MIP (Minor in Possession Charge) that I had received in downtown Springfield, MO.
