Adam Woody and Ty Harden worked hard on my case. It was a political and nasty attack on my character - which was simultaneously happening during my divorce case. There were ethic issues that were raised during the criminal case with how law enforcement was involved and the case was elevated at a poin...t to where the Missouri Highway patrol was conducting a special investigation on the local county sheriff. My spouse was having an affair with the county sheriff, where she and the sheriff both used his position and the court system to harm me anyway they could. They tried blackmailing me in text messages, and eventually tried recording me - eventually succeeding in recording an argument between my ex spouse and myself. Not only did my ex wife get the recording she wanted, the sheriff himself responded to the call of the argument while their affair was happening. I was totally unaware of the affair until the my ex-wife moved out into the sheriff's residence. The sheriff made no report, and then 7-8 months later, my ex-wife during our divorce used the recording to file charges against me, while she was living and in a relationship with the same sheriff! I believe that both attorney's did feel as though I was the victim of a justice system being weaponized and used against me. In the end they negotiated the sentence down from a Felony to a SIS Misdemeanor Alford plea!! Which is unheard of with the charge I had. This Alford plea which will now be recorded in the court record, that the local prosecutor and judge accepted - makes the statement for me that I do not agree with the charge even as a misdemeanor and hopefully makes the public ask questions about their local sheriffs department. Especially concerning ethics, honor and integrity with local law enforcement. My message to anybody dealing with corrupt cops, get these attorney's now! "Good cops that protect bad cops - are bad cops period!"
