About Roya
Biography
My practice is focused on advising and representing clients in the area of domestic relations, including dissolution of marriage, child custody, modifications of decrees of dissolution of marriage, enforcement of decrees, interstate custody matters, adult and child abuse matters, business valuation in dissolution, as well as all appellate work involving domestic matters.
Throughout my career, whether in private practice or in public service, I have focused on issues that concern families. I've had the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients, from individuals to state agencies. I've also had the honour of appearing in a number of circuit, associate circuit, probate and juvenile courts in the state as well as adminstrative tribunals and all three divisions of the Missouri Court of Appeals.
While I have the skills and training to litigate cases as needed, I recognize that litigation isn't always best for families and children. Because of my belief that my work as an attorney doesn't end when a case is over, I've included mediation and guardian ad litem training in my educational profile.
Ultimately I believe that it is my duty to provide clients with information and education to enable them to make choices that are best for themselves and their families. My goal is to be a guide through whatever legal process is applicable to the situation and to use the best tools available to help you resolve your matter so that you can continue on with your life.
