Samantha completed her undergraduate studies at Emory University and majored in African American Studies. While at Emory University, she was student volunteer and was the Vice-President of her collegiate chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
Samantha attended law school at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in Little Rock, Arkansas. While in law school, Samantha developed a passion for litigation and business transactions. Samantha served as the Notes and Comments Editor of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law Review. Samantha also served as the National Secretary and local chapter president of the National Black Law Students Association. She was a member of the National Trial Team, a Pupil in the Judge Henry Woods American Inns of Court and a Senator in the Student Bar Association.
Upon matriculation from law school, Samantha was employed for six years a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As a Trial Attorney at HUD, she was a member of a nine person team that oversaw HUD’s litigation in seven states and two United States territories. Her areas of specialty included fair housing litigation, real estate litigation, and government contracts.
Samantha is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Women in the Profession, Litigation, and Business Committees of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia. She is the current co-chair of the Solo/Small Firm Committee of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia. She is a graduate of the 2015 Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia Leadership Academy and past co-chair of the Government Section of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys.
Samantha renders service to her community through her membership with the Zeta Alpha Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. in College Park, GA. She is passionate about empowering women to become entrepreneurs and is a sought after speaker on the subject. She also inspires women to live life with unlimited faith through her lifestyle blog and product line called Imani Unlimited ().
