Biography
I have been practicing law since 1978. From 2002 to 2010 I also served in the Missouri House of Representatives. I helped write the DWI laws that are now in effect in Missouri. I was recognized and given an award by the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys for my work on behalf of injury victims during the "tort reform" debates in 2005. I have represented hundreds of injury victims and thousands of drivers in traffic courts. I now practice in Independence Missouri.

John Burnett was wonderful! He explained everything step by step. Never left me in the dark. Was very knowledgeable and VERY professional. Office was easy to locate. Always returned calls in a timely manner along with answering emails.
