My case was a very difficult family case with lots of fails on the justice system but Julie fought very hard to get us peace and justice. The system threw every curve ball but she never quit pushing for us. She always kept me informed and made sure I understood what was going on. We needed an emergen...cy protective order on a Friday Julie got it taken care of and took time to call me at almost 9pm just to give me peace of mind. I really value the advice she gives and it has helped many ways legally and teaching me how to handle situations.

Julie McCarver handled my divorce in 2016. A retainer was paid and the case was started. Total time to become legally divorced was only 4 months. This isn't bad in most circles but I ended up being the one that did most of the negotiating to settle the divorce which I felt like was not my place. Thin...gs started fine with Julie but soon she became very difficult to reach my myself and the opposing counsel. Of course anytime I would contact her to ask her questions or let her know the opposing counsel had sent her offers or correspondents it would just cost me more money. By the time the divorce was coming to an end I felt like I had made a major err in judgment hiring Mrs. McCarver. I often felt as if she was wanting to not settle the divorce outside of the courtroom. I couldn't imagine how terrible going in front of a judge would have been. I was legally divorced in 7/2016. In April of 2018 I just received a bill from McCarver Law for another $411.35. So even almost 2 years later the headache of dealing with this law office continues. Of course I will pay the bill to hopefully end this unpleasant experience overall. Be cautious if selecting this office.

Julie has been our lawyer for over three years now. She has spent countless hours working on our custody battle case. She always keeps us up to date with anything and everything going on with our case. We have never not known what to expect with each hearing, she prepares and is always ready to prese...nt evidence. Her communication is great, we are always able to speak to her directly about any concerns we may have. She's been up front with fees, and has always fought to have our sons best interest at heart. I hired Mrs McCarver ,and paid her day 1 ,thousands of dollars,pretty pretty well was the last I heard from her till the day before court, to be honest I think she forgot about court altogether because I reminded her the day before at which point she asked me to bring certain Witnesses and on that sh...ort of notice it was hard but I got one man there, Court was at 1:30 that day there was No word, no call,and at 2:30 sitting there with no lawyer the judge was about to reschedule us when she showed up the actions that she chose I don't understand why but it prolong my case lasting 10 months when it was finally over there were thousands more in fees she had to be constantly reminded to work on the case never kept in touch and when the bill arrived every time that I had stepped into the office even though she was never there I was billed , further she would schedule meetings then cancel them and Bill hundreds of dollars for those meetings I've read these other reviews and cannot believe any of them to be the truth she did only the bare minimum necessary and even then has she been opposed by even a mediocre lawyer I'm sure she would have folded I strongly urge anyone to stay clear of this lawyer it would be equivalent to Flushing your money down the toilet

Julie McCarver has been helping my husband and myself in intervening with the DFS Children's division we were able to bring home five of our grandchildren. My son recently passed away and he was the father of three of the grandchildren Julie's been very supportive, and has understood our money situat...ion even though we haven't been able to make a payment to her in the past 9 months Julia still came to our side every meeting at the DFS office every court hearing and anytime we call her she's available. Julie is a very kind and understanding attorney she understands the real world she understands people make mistakes and people aren't perfect sense then my daughter has been able to receive her visits with her two children. Now it's starting to look like that we are going to be able to adopt my son's three children because he passed away. All because Julie McCarver is very good at her job, very professional with appearance and actions doesn't take no for an answer.
