My case was a very difficult family case with lots of fails on the justice system but Julie fought very hard to get us peace and justice. We needed an emergen...cy protective order on a Friday Julie got it taken care of and took time to call me at almost 9pm just to give me peace of mind. Last May I was thrown into an emergency situation in regards to my infant nephew. I was told the only way to help was to get a lawyer and go through the legal means to seek temporary guardianship of him. Julie McCarver was the first and only person that came to mind. I had previously met her through ...her husband when he was a lawyer and had hired her a few years prior for a different issue. She was prompt to get things started with the courts. She always was very sincere, personable, and was always there to take my phone calls to listen to my concerns. We faced many obstacles and even at times she was honest enough to tell me that she could not guarantee the outcome and would always explain what may or may not happen in my case. Julie and her staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and even went to the extent to do some digging of their own to find out information that could be helpful. This has been such a long journey. It was mentally and emotionally exhausting for me but her and her staff always provided encouragement and support. We had a total of 3 court dates and each one she handled herself professionally and ethically. She always had the best interest for my nephew and I, and was always knowledgeable and quick to think on her feet when the other lawyer wanted to throw a curve ball, so to speak. She worked closely with the guardian ad liteum, that was appointed to be my nephews lawyer, and together they did an amazing job in the court room. We just recently had the 3rd court date in February and I was awarded permanent guardianship of my nephew. No matter what the outcome would have been, Julie exceedingly met my expectations and went above and beyond in this case. When I first hired her for this case I reviewed her ratings along with the other parties lawyer, and seen someone had called Julie a "Bulldog" in the court room and if she wasn't a lawyer she would be an MMA fighter. This couldn't have described her performance any better. I would recommend Julie to anyone for anything. She is not only an amazing lawyer but such an amazing person. I trusted Julie and her instincts and never worried about anything throughout this process. I am extremely blessed and grateful for all her hard work and dedication she has to not only me, but all of her clients.
