Sarah Burton Partney, originally from a small town in Illinois, earned a B.A. in English from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale before going on to attend law school at University of Missouri-Columbia.  During law school Sarah was active in the Board of Advocates, participated in Mock Trial and Negotiation competitions, and clerked for two criminal defense firms.  She graduated in 2005, earning her J.D., a Certificate in Dispute Resolution, and membership in the Order of the Barristers for excellence in courtroom advocacy.

 

After graduation, Sarah accepted a position at the Office of the Missouri Public Defender in Farmington, Missouri.  During her time with the Public Defender's Office, Sarah gained experience handling a wide variety of criminal cases, and successfully represented defendants in numerous felony jury trials.  In 2008, Sarah joined Kramer and Hand, where she practices domestic and criminal law in Jefferson County and the surrounding areas.

Sarah is active in Jefferson County, and is currently a member of the Jefferson County Women's Bar Association, and the Jefferson County Bar Association.

Excellent Lawyer
I used Sarah as my lawyer for divorce. She is very professional, thorough and was definately on my side throughout the process. I almost felt bad for my ex wife as her lawyer wasnt on top of the situation. I would recommend Sarah and her firm for any legal needs in her field of law. Special thanks to Kailey too.

The Best Decision Yoiu Will Make During Your Divorce
Dear Guys or Ladies, this the attorney you want for your divorce. I nterviewed two other lawyers who were very professional and both promised they would fight for my interests. Lawyer speak for running up your bill arguing in court. Sarah was very professional and promised to settle any disagreements. Sarah and her assistant, Kailey Davis, kept me informed and gave options whenever it was necessary. Folks, this is the second biggest expenditure of your life and you need someone you trust. Someone who will give you excellent advice and make you feel at ease. I have recommended Sarah at least a half dozen times and will continue to send clients to her for her skills and compassion.

Excellent Criminal Attorney
Sarah represented my two step sons in two separate criminal cases. One case was out of town but she recommended an excellent attorney to help him. She is great!
