David A. Rubin

We called on 12/06/22 and scheduled the first appointment. Mr. Rubin's office canceled the appointment the day before and rescheduled for 1/31/23. Mr. Rubin was at least half an hour late to our first meeting, at the end of which he scheduled the second appointment for 2/14/23. We arrived on time... for the second appointment and Mr. Rubin was late again. While we were waiting for him, I searched CaseNet -- the Missouri state courts automated case management system. According to CaseNet, Mr. Rubin had a court hearing at 9 AM which was the time of our appointment. Mr. Rubin was 48 minutes late to our second appointment and explained his tardiness by saying, "Rain poured through the ceiling and we all had to move to the other side of the court." After the documents were signed, Mr. Rubin said that we will receive a phone call in 2 weeks to pick up the envelope. I was confused about the timing because Mr. Rubin had previously told us that the documents don't have to be filed with the court. I asked, "Why will it take 2 weeks?" Rubin yelling, "My staff can't drop everything and work on your documents. I have other cases." I, "I didn't ask to have documents today. I asked what will happen during these 2 weeks." Rubin, "We have to make documents look right for the court and make copies." I, "What do you mean 'make look right for the court'?" Rubin, "You will see it when you get the documents." Assuming Mr. Rubin's assistants photocopy documents within 2 weeks as was promised, it will take nearly 3 months from our first call to prepare routine estate planning documents involving the only child inheriting everything from his parents.

Atty Rubin was exceptionally Professional, prepared and knowledge in assuring we constructed a thorough Series of Documents to protect us and our Children.
