Marvin Karl Hawkins Jr.

I used Karl Hawkins when I needed a good attorney to represent me in my capacity as a personal representative for a Will. He was awesome. I am an attorney myself, and I totally depended on his guidance, as I knew nothing about this area of law. Karl is a perfectionist and knows the law so thor...oughly that I always felt safe, even when one of the heirs became unreasonable and came after me repeatedly. It was such a relief to just refer her lawyer to my lawyer, Karl, because Karl was amazing. He shot down every allegation from the other attorney and made him look like he knew nothing about the law. Several years ago, Karl helped me with the Missouri portion of my sister's estate. It was a small estate but it was incredibly complicated because of a few odd financial decisions my sister had made. I was selling a house in MO which my sister, brother and I co-owned and my sister died without puttin...g an addendum on the deed that her children were her beneficiaries. She was dead, so she couldn't sign off on the sale and she hadn't named any beneficiaries.....Ack! You see this is already too complicated to explain and attempting to do so causes the slight tremble in my hands that occurred during this time to reappear. All i can say is that Karl handled this like a pro - he was very calm when speaking to a frantic, inarticulate executor (me) and was able to solve all the problems involved very cleverly and quickly. My mother recently died in Missouri and i immediately went to Karl for help with her estate. It was a very simple estate because my mother didn't make odd financial decisions and Karl did his usual excellent job with it. I would recommend him highly. I have no more family in Missouri that would dare to name me as their executor (thank god), so I won't see Karl again but I will always remember how much he helped me during a very difficult time in my life.
