Karl really helped us out of a jam where we needed to have legal documentation around a loan from my father in law in order to get the money approved as a down payment on our home. Mr. Hawkins provided exceptional service to my family as we worked to buy our new home from a seller who was not working with a realtor. He quickly responded to my initial inquiry when we first wanted to make an offer on the property, and had the sales offer drawn up right away so we wouldn't miss ou...r chance. He was responsive and helpful as we engaged in several counteroffers with the seller, even calling the seller up to explain some of the terms of the contract when she was having trouble understanding what some of it meant. After we came to a purchase agreement. Mr. Hawkins kept in close contact, reminding us of items that needed to be completed by certain dates. When we had issues with seller regarding inspections and she did not respond to my inquiries, Mr. Hawkins worked directly with her to ensure that the terms of the contract would be met so we could close the sale as scheduled. I have never had to work with a real estate lawyer before (so I have no comparison to make), but I am very impressed with Mr. Hawkins' level of service, expertise and genuine care for his clients. If he had not made this FSBO process so painless for us, we may have just walked away and not purchased the home we wanted because of the complexities we encountered. We will definitely return to him for any future legal services we need.
