Meg was the best we could ask for when it came to a lawyer! The way she presented herself was professional and confident in what she does best “law”. We couldn’t have been more proud to walk in the trial with her as a lawyer! It took years and hard work for her to get there and it showed. Experience ...is necessary in any family situation ,especially this one, that ends up going to court let alone trial! She was always taking notes and always listening with compassion for what we were going through as a child’s guardian. A child’s life was needing her and us. We needed an expert to present our case and why we wanted to just go to trial. Trial was not fun! It was exhausting and time consuming but it was real and we had th evidence. She then had the facts and she presented them. She represented us and gave us a chance to be who we are as people. We are compassionate about what we are doing and we are caring people that are giving a child a chance and she represented us in a way it was heard. In the end the judgement was in our favor. Guardians, in a very tough situation, is hard but we knew we needed a strong lawyer to protect a child’s life and we got it! We know if we need her again she will help us again! Meg is a truly rare lawyer; an honest one. She lets you know from the start if you have a good chance of winning, unlike other lawyers that are happy to just run up the bill and waste your money on a case. She has been doing family law for a long time and has great insight to share with her clients b...ased on her experience and knowledge of how the law works. She is willing to actually form a strategy with you and work as a team to develop a plan of how to approach your case, based on what's important to you. Other lawyers I've worked with in the past just seem to follow a template for how they like things done, whether that template aligns with what you think is important or not. Meg fights for the things that the client deems worth fighting for, and doesn't waste a bunch of your time and money charging you for things you don't even care about.

Meg lacked knowledge and experience in adoption. For example, she would ask me how I thought we should proceed with the case. However, I had hired her because I was seeking her knowledge and guidance. Her lack of knowledge and experience was also exemplified when she told me that it would be a strugg...le to win our case. She told me this even after I had told her my son’s biological father had not been in my son’s life for years. Meg also lacked compassion and listening skills. She did not take the time to understand the situation. Not soon after working with Meg, I hired a new, more experienced lawyer. From the start, the new lawyer was confident and always reassured me that we had a strong case. In the end, we did win our case, and it was not a hard struggle to win like Meg had said it would be. I wish Meg had admitted that she didn’t feel comfortable taking on our case, especially since the case had to do with the future of our family.

I have never been so disgusted but what this lawyer has done. I just received an email for services rendered for the amount of 350. For what you ask and for why? I am a disabled vet using a Kaufman fund and after what I thought was a free consult due to the fact that I never hired or agreed to anythi...ng with her, she had the audacity and I send me an email for services! I am literally in shock. I have two nickels to rub together and just wanted to get my boys back in my life. Shameful. Due not hire.
