Amanda Bradley Verett

As someone who had previously worked with two of the more prominent family lawyers in the area, I found myself completely dissatisfied and knew I had to retain new legal counsel. I was going through an uncivilized, bitter, and extremely lengthy divorce and my ex's lawyer is an unethical, hits-bel...ow-the-belt type of attorney and none of my other lawyers would consider challenging this particular individual. My divorce was not easy, but I had it settled in 2001, after a year and a half. However, due to the fact my ex loves going to court on a fairly consistent basis, I found myself still faced with unsettled issues involving child custody/visitation/support. In approximately late 2005, after searching in vain for a good family lawyer,I grew very disgruntled and frustrated. However, Amanda came highly recommended to me from another lawyer I was familiar with, and I arranged for a consultation. After the initial consultation, I was immediately impressed by her frankness, honesty and professionalism. She advised me of what could/could not happen with my case, which my other lawyers had never been so upfront with me about in the past. She was always prepared, more than fair on her prices given the magnitude of my case and how complicated things had gotten due to the incompetence and ineffective representation of my previous lawyers. I knew in her, I had a strong and competent lawyer who would never fail me in any situation. She did not let my ex's attorney intimidate her, she didn't back down from any challenges that arose in my case and she was able to help me in a professional, as well as personal capacity. If you want someone who will protect your children, defend you in court and give you the best and most realistic outcome in your case, then I cannot recommend her highly enough. She won't make empty promises or drag out your court case to line her own pockets like some family/divorce lawyers do. Amanda does her best to handle things in an efficient manner and doesn't waste her time or yours. Her paralegal was always always so pleasant and readily available to answer my calls and Amanda was always prompt in getting back with me if I had any questions or issues which required attention. Thank you Amanda, without you, I don't think I would have made it through the past 3 1/2 years. I owe you so much! I would strongly recommend that anyone in need of a skilled, experienced, compassionate and ethical family lawyer, to look no further than Amanda Verett, because she is one of the best I've have ever had the privilege to work with and when going through divorce/family issues, someone like her is very hard to come by.
