We went to Erin for a stepparent adoption. We had done a lot of the leg work and had prepared a lot of the filing. She let us know repeatedly she didn’t prefer to work with clients who prepped their own paperwork but we were confident. Sure enough the info we had was right and she gave not only the w...rong instructions but gave us an incomplete filing causing delays, multiple trips to the office and being rejected by the courts. Beyond the wasted time and money it really dampened what should be such an exciting time for our family. Making it much more complicated. I’m incredibly disappointed in spending our hard earned money on someone who was so ill equipped to help us. Wish we would have had more value for our money and hired an experienced lawyer in stepparent adoptions. STILL trying to complete it. The office is nice but my guess is they should Spend less time trying to impress people and more time actually providing correct legal advice.
