Well first off, I found my self in an accident in the wrong county. I was looking at an class 4 felony just off an accident. I looked around for a lawyer not well enough and ended up with a lawyer not for this case. FYI, get the right lawyer! She was small time and alone. After going to several c...ourt dates no luck I had to look around again before I ended up where I didn’t want to be. Thanks to my father , who recently passed, I was given a number that leads me to Johnson Law. My attorney assigned was Doug Johnson. Super professional and concerned for my needs as the client. My first impression was this guy wants to help me genuinely and resolve my problem to the best of his ability. He and his law firm and legal aid (Holy) was spot on and I felt like I hired the right people. End of the day, Doug had worked a deal for the felony to be dismissed and instead a misdemeanor. No jail time, I have my license and I’ma lot more stress free with this not over my head. My only regret is that I didn’t find Doug and the Johnson Law Firm earlier. Douglas and his assistant Dawn were professional and courteous. Douglas was able to secure the best possible outcome for me on a Scott's law violation. He was able to get my fines reduced and my my charges will be dismissed after 6 months of court supervision and there will be no conviction record. A...dditionally, I live in the Chicago area and Douglas was able to get my case resolved without me having to appear in court.
