Worst in Peoria

Hired for a divorce. She was 100% unfamiliar with my case and asked for things at the hearing that I didn’t even want, while failing to seek the things I hired her for. She rushed through the hearing, was unable to focus on anything, and lost everything.

All Divorce trials are organized with a detailed property distribution grids which are created with extensive collaboration between the client and the team at Watson Law. Property distribution grids clearly show all marital assets, all marital debts, dissipation, and further show requested allocation i.e. the proposed order to the Judge. All assets and debts presented to the Judge must be backed up to the penny with hard evidence. Hard evidence can be, an itemized statement, a bank transfer, titles, promissory notes, loans, and the like. If an item needs to be valued, the client makes the determination to hire an expert to value said asset or dissipation, or rely on the evidence the team is able to present to the Court. No attorney can request property or debt allocation of which there is no evidence, nor can any attorney request of a Judge an allocation that is contrary to fact and law. All property distribution grids have clearly referenced hard evidence which is also given to the Judge at the time of trial. No Attorney can guarantee any outcome from a Court. Watson Law will not present requests to a judge which are not based in fact or law. We thank you for your continued understanding of our strong dedication to attorney ethics and our passion for applying the law to the facts of each and every case.

Linda Watson is WHO you want as YOUR lawyer!!!

I am not quite sure where to begin...I had originally hired a previous lawyer to represent me for my divorce (which started in 2019). The previous lawyer did not seem to be doing much work on my case nor did did I feel heard when I explained my case to them. I ended up asking them to withdraw as my l...awyer after about 8 months because I knew they weren't going to fight for me. I then started the process of finding a new lawyer and quite a few lawyers were not even willing to take my case because litigation had already started. I felt very lost, but then I got referred to Linda Watson from 3 different people. I had my phone consult with her (at this point covid was in full swing) and I knew this woman was going to fight for me. Let me make this clear, you're money will not go to waste at Watson Law! You will see the work for what you pay for! Linda and her team will go above and beyond for you! Make sure you communicate with them and tell them everything! Linda is such a good hearted person. She doesn't sugarcoat things and is very real and upfront with you! Never in a million years did I think after hiring Linda I would grow so close to her and her staff!! As crappy as having to go through the divorce process was, Linda and her team made it somewhat enjoyable! I felt heard, supported and validated from Linda and her team! Oh and in the end, Watson Law won my case!!! It took 5+ trials/days in court. It is very important for YOU the client to make sure you educate yourself with your story/side of things and come prepared as well. Linda is so incredible in court. She FIGHTS for you. I could go on and on but I will end with this...choosing any other lawyer for your case would be a HUGE mistake and loss!!!!

Waste of money

Had a child custody case. Seemed like she was too busy to take care of my case because nothing got done unless I was the one asking and reminding her and her paralegal what was going on. I also received extremely important information given to me by her paralegal that was incorrect. They were not on ...the same page with anything. I hired an attorney because I wanted help and direction because I felt like I didn’t know what I was doing. I ended up wasting money because I could have done what she did for me. I will never recommend her to anyone.

I am sorry you feel that way. My door is always open to all my clients to schedule a meeting with me to review any strategy or information you wish to review with the attorney. Clients are encouraged to do so as often and frequently as they feel they need in their case. In addition, clients have my personal cell phone number to address any emergent concerns they may have at any time. My extremely talented staff are directed by myself personally in all their interactions and work. Naturally an attorney's strategy and opinion may change as the case progresses and detailed facts and evidence is revealed. Watson Law with our fully client integrated digital file systems is the foremost in the area in providing a high level of personal service to each and every one of our clients. It is vital in this open visitation environment to retain an experienced attorney to ensure that your final orders reflect the needs and reality of your family. In addition, an experienced attorney will be able to anticipate and draft orders which will reduce the potential for future conflict between households. Watson Law with 20 years of experience is the best choice for navigating you and your family through these family issues. As always, we wish you and yours health and happiness. Sincerely, Linda Watson

The pitbull of all lawyers

Linda recently represented me with my divorce/custody case. She was quick to answer each and every question thoroughly. She also has very well educated staff and paralegals who help beyond words. They are professional, and quick to help when needed. She is a fighter and understanding as well as a... family woman too. She gave me her personal cell number so I could contact her anytime via calling or texting with questions, concerns, or updates in regards to my case. I will forever use attorney Linda Watson for any other legal matters. She is amazing and I am so glad I hired such an attentive lawyer who knows how to get things done promptly.
