Kathleen Bailey

I hired Kathleen after my previous divorce attorney failed to deliver anything she promised, and worse. Kathleen was very open and upfront regarding my prospects of getting my share of the assets he had hidden previously and another court case to prove he committed fraud. She kept me up to date on ...what was happening, gave me copies of all correspondence, and was very responsive.

Miss Bailey was very unorganized, especially in the court room. It cost me a lot of money to pay witnesses to come to my divorce hearing and she was not prepared with questions, dismissed many of them without my permission (knowing they would make her look like a fool for not being prepared) and bas...ically wasted their time and my money. Not being organized also meant not all issues were resolved during our long hearing, so I had more issues that needed to be decided by the judge after it was over. I felt these were her responsibility, but I was not about to pay her any more money, so we parted ways and I had to find another attorney to finish things up.

I am so disappointed with my representation. The entire time I was working with Miss Bailey I felt uninformed, responses and documents were filed without my knowledge or permission until after the fact, my phone calls were never returned and my questions were never answered. Finally I got tired of ne...ver getting any information and asked to be represented by another lawyer within the firm who would call me back and answer my questions. She called me back that time, to inform me she was withdrawing from my cases. This is just over a week before I have to appear in court, and less than a week before a deadline to file more documents. Now I have to come up with more money for another retainer and find a new lawyer within the next week. Extremely unprofessional and disorganized.
