Feel inclined to share my dissatisfaction with the law offices of Mr. Vargas. He does the talk but does not do the walk. Will call you and be generous of his time before acquiring the retainer, then will be near impossible to get ahold of, completely non responsive. Claim he is working his wonders fo...r you but before you know it, you will be worse than you were before, unnecessarily delayed and informed your retainer is depleted (In my case, two short statuses, nothing filed, and not having seen a single billing statement) You will get a call at this time, to scare you into rehiring him/ sending more money. No thank you Mr. Vargas.

Please refrain from hiring Rafael Vargas. Before I comment, I just want everyone to know that I am not ignorant to the system. He is very unprofessional and does not know how to talk to his clients. He does not like to be questioned and will even argue with his clients. He rarely answered his phone a...nd at times would go MIA. One time, he didn't return my call until 10 min before court and I was already prepared to inform the judge I didn't know where he was. I found out he was actually out of the country. He talked to me like I was some idiot woman who doesn't know anything. He did absolutely nothing for my case but made alot of promises. There were times where he was not prepared for court and had to ask for continuances, which hurt my case because there were deadlines to be made. When he asked for money, I sent it to him. Money was not the issue. Just a terrible attorney all together. Lastly, if you are a victim of domestic violence, please do not hire him! He is not trauma informed and he has an abusive personality as well. I have worked in the domestic violence field for almost 15 years and I would never ever refer any of my clients to this man and I ask that anyone else that works in the DV field do not send their clients his way.

I would do 0 stars. Hired Rafael 2 years ago for a divorce and certain rights along with child rights. After the first court he said I was done. I did not receive any updates nor feedbacks via email or phone. I had to drive myself to the court house to find out I was NOT divorce. As of today I have e...mails requesting answers and Rafael is no where to answer my questions after being paid for his services.
