Won my case!

Won my case. Mr. Khwaja is extremely tenacious and knowledgeable. From the first consultation that we met I knew this was the guy. The mortgage lender had misappropriated my escrow account paying another homeowners taxes sending me into foreclosure. Mr. Khwaja dissected this case down to incredible d...etail raising defenses and counterclaims and winning on summary judgment. If you have a complex case and you need serious representation this is the guy!!!

Stop browsing. This is the guy you want. Thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and serious about what he does.

Four years of a high conflict divorce, going to court ever month. Sometimes twice a month. I’ve seen my share of good and bad attorneys. My case was extraordinarily difficult and terribly damaging to my family, my business associates and myself. My ex wife who is mentally ill forced the property that... was purchased as a college fund for my children into foreclosure as a form retaliation for my children telling the judge of the abuse sustained at the hands of her and my ex mother in law. Knowing my ex wife’s thought pattern I knew she’d seek revenge against our children for telling on her and she’d stop payment on their two flat. Since early on in the divorce my ex had a court order removing me as an authorized person on the account for that property. I was left with no way to communicate with the mortgage company to rectify any situations on my own. Foreseeing the situation, I sought a referral from one of my old real estate lawyers for someone to step into the case to protect the properties. On their recommendation a seperate attorney was hired during the divorce solely to protect my interests in the real estate. She did what I knew she would. The attorney was hired 2 months before a payment was even missed on this particular piece of property. His outright refusal to do anything for the $7,500 he collected landed this property not only in foreclosure but let it go to the point that a judgement for sale was entered. Never notifying me of the situation and giving me the brush off the entire time I asked for an update. Completely keeping me in the dark. And when I confronted him about it after it went to judgment for sale; two years later, he excused me of being negligent, even tried to strong arm me. He said there is nothing he could do. He told me to give him another $5,000 and he could keep it going another six months but I was going to lose the property no matter what. Then he started telling me how I really don’t want the property anyway. I told him I had given him $7,500 to protect the property and he literally did nothing. He told me if I wanted a bill, he’d give me one but then I’d have to pay him even more. The entire situation was horrible. He took advantage of my good nature and the terrible position I was in and pretty much extorted me. Then he left me hanging I’m a worse situation than if I never hired him at all, only With $7,500 less. That night with tears in my eyes I told my kids I didn’t think I’d be able to save theIr building. The next day feeling hopeless, I reached out to a friend and was given a referral from their attorney for an attorney who specializes in foreclosure litigation. After talking to her I was then again disappointed that she was too busy to take my case. In reality I think she just didn’t want it. Because my case is so complicated. She told me to call Dan Khwaja. She said “you’ll like this guy”. I called him right away. it was definitely the right move. Dan gave me more information on my first phone call with him than I got in two years with the other thieving attorney. He met with me that same day. We discussed my case and I paid him a retainer. He started working on my case immediately. I was surprised when he texted me on a Friday night and then found out he worked all weekend on my case. As I said I’ve been going to court every month for years and I know a good attorney from a bad one. Dan is not good - he’s excellent. The amount of professionalism and attention to detail is second to none. He takes what he does very seriously and has a soul that is uncommon in most attorneys. He managed to overturn the judgement and get me another chance to save my children’s building. We are not out of the woods yet and mine is a very uncommon case. But with that said I have complete confidence in Dan Khwaja. As a matter of fact, I’m betting my children’s future on him. If you’re in a bad place, don’t know where to turn, call him right now. Time you have is limited. Don’t waste it with anyone else!!!

Can't say enough about Dan

I can't say which of his qualities I like the most since he's such a stellar example of what a lawyer should aspire to. I've known lots of them in my time so you can trust me. He's factual and direct with you in assessing your case and kind in ways other lawyers don't even bother with. I've ne...ver known him to brag about himself but he doesn't have to. One can tell he's got a gift for the strategies of this rigorous category of law. I know if I was an opposing attorney I wouldn't want to cross him in court because he doesn't let you get away with anything out-of-order. Even I've been corrected by him a few times! All jokes aside, these things just show he's a brave defender of property rights. To me, that's paramount because all of our other rights are connected to that one. Dan saved the life of my case after my pro se attempts went flat and his consistent effort has allowed me to hope while I work on other things. In respect for his skill in and dedication to his profession I can say that I will direct people to him whenever I can.

AGRESSIVE - RESPONSIVE - HONEST - HARDWORKING -CARING

Daniel S. Khwaja made sense out of everything that we are going through with our house issues. He clammed are fears and is working and doing his best on our behalf. He does what he says he will do and will fight for you and your rights. I have heard of some Lawyers who take your money and run but Dan...iel is certianly not one of them, quite the opposite! His communication is were he really gels at. Most Lawyers have a tendancy to slowly get back to you to adress your concerns but Daniel does not do this. He is right on top of any questions my wife or I have had.

"Dan is one of the most passionate attorneys I've ever had the privilege of knowing. If you've ever had the occasion to use the expression "take it to the bank", you were likely attempting to convey a guarantee or promise of some kind. For Dan, “take it to the bank” is a professional creed he lives by. If you hire him, you are guaranteed to receive the highest degree of representation. You will also have bagged yourself legal counsel who quite literally, “takes it to the bank” in every single foreclosure defense matter he works on. While our friends in the creditors bar representing banks may not, without hesitation, I absolutely endorse this lawyer."
