Sandra Margaret Emerson

also known as Sandy Emerson

About me

At Emerson Law Firm, LLC, the preservation of your home and assets is our mission - and our passion! We are a consumer law firm that seeks to obtain real value for our clients through dynamic, aggressive, knowledgeable, and thorough representation.

What makes our firm unique and effective?

  • We are knowledgeable about mortgage servicing.  (In fact, our of-counsel attorney was the general counsel for the nation's largest privately-held mortgage servicing company.)   Mortgage servicers can and do make mistakes, and it happens more often than you would think. We can help clients find them -- and fight them.

  • We understand debt collection.  Before becoming a consumer advocate, attorney Sandra Emerson collected debts for corporations.

  • We understand general principles of real estate law.  Attorney Emerson is a former real estate broker, and our firm has completed thousands of closings.

  • We are able to thoroughly evaluate clients for loss mitigation options, including loan modifications and workouts, deeds in lieu, consent foreclosures and short sales.

  • We are bankruptcy lawyers who can advise clients as to if and when it is appropriate to file for bankruptcy protection.  Contrary to popular belief, a bankruptcy does NOT mean you will lose your home.  In fact, most of our bankruptcy clients keep their homes.  Bankruptcy can be a powerful strategic tool, not only from a financial planning perspective, but also when a foreclosure is involved

All three of our attorneys are proud to have received training and ongoing support from famed bankruptcy attorney O. Max Gardner (pictured) regarding bankruptcy/bankruptcy litigation, mortgage servicing, mortgage foreclosure fraud and loan securization, as well as from other knowledgeable attorneys in Mr. Gardner's nationwide "Boot Camp Army."
