Peter Lawrence Berk

     My law office has been open since 2006.  Since 2001, I have practiced in real estate law, bankruptcy law, and general business law.   I handle all types of real estate closings, including both residential and commercial properties.  My bankruptcy practice includes cases under Chapter 7, 13, and 11, as well as bankruptcy litigation.  I have extensive experience in other matters, such as business formation, contract negotiation, landlord/tenant, and general litigation.

     As the owner of a small firm, my primary focus is on providing the highest possible level of service to my clients.  It is important to me to get to know my clients as people, not just customers.  I keep my clients informed on all aspects of their cases, encourage questions, and take the time to thoroughly explain all issues.  I return all phone calls and emails the same day, if at all possible.  I offer free consultations, in addition to reasonable fees. Payment plans are available for most types of matters.

     Outside of the law, I am an avid runner and hiker.  I play 3 musical instruments, and I love animals, especially cats.
