To Whom It May Concern: I initially got an attorney because my daughter’s mom had gotten an attorney. The custody process was very confusing and unclear to me because in my mind, I had done nothing to warrant such a response from my daughter’s mother. I found my first attorney Sarah through th...e Illinois Bar Association. Sarah was nice but did not do a very good job of explaining the process or maybe I did not ask the right questions. In the end, I did not feel like I was getting the representation that was required. While discussing the matter with one of my close friends. He suggested that I take a meeting with this amazing attorney that he had heard about by the name of Maliha. At first, I was reluctant because I could not imagine that another attorney would approach the custody litigation differently. Boy, was I wrong! After speaking with Maliha, I knew within the first 5 minutes that I would be in good hands and in a much better position if Maliha was my attorney. Maliha immediately got to work and within less than a week, I had custody of my daughter. Conversely, I had my former attorney for almost 2 years and did not feel that any progress had been made.
