To Whom It May Concern: I initially got an attorney because my daughter’s mom had gotten an attorney. The custody process was very confusing and unclear to me because in my mind, I had done nothing to warrant such a response from my daughter’s mother. I found my first attorney Sarah through th...e Illinois Bar Association. Sarah was nice but did not do a very good job of explaining the process or maybe I did not ask the right questions. In the end, I did not feel like I was getting the representation that was required. While discussing the matter with one of my close friends. At first, I was reluctant because I could not imagine that another attorney would approach the custody litigation differently. Boy, was I wrong! Maliha represented me in a very contentious divorce which lasted 2 ½ years.
