Ian took on my case for a reasonable price when no one else would. I am beyond thankful and blessed to be recommended by him through a friend. I was wrongfully convicted of aggravated assault with a firearm. I was sentenced to 12 months Probation with is a conviction in Illinois August 2016. Ian Ba...rney along with his colleague filed two post trial motions. Motion for a new trial and motion for to reconsider the sentence. In September 2016 less than 45 days from my original conviction my sentence was reduced to 12 months court supervision which is not a conviction and can be expunged after 2 years. Mr. Barney represented me on an Order of Protection based on false accusations. The case ended up going to a full blown hearing.
