perental responsibilities

The Frumm firm handled post decree matter for myself and my children. I was very please with David's understanding of the system and my concerns. I will use them for as long I have issues with my ex.

“RIGHT OR WRONG, the Legal system in Illinois gives preferential treatment to Lawyers with a great reputation...”

The Law firm of Frumm and Frumm are responsible for completely turning the tables of my divorce case to my favor. My Ex for the duration of our early 20's marriage lacked any real motivation to be successful because his family owned an insurance agency and his very generous father still received subs...tantial income from residuals. The original decree going back 3 years now had me paying him maintenance given his lack of employment and team of high priced lawyers. I thought the judge would have seen through the ridiculousness of it all back then, but no. When I was brought back into court for more money earlier this year, a well respected GAL introduced me to the Frumm Firm here in Chicago, and upon hiring them, things completely changed for the better. David Frumm in particular argued masterfully on my behalf and in the end I am forever free of that burden. Do I judge my lawyer by the results? yes, yes I do.

Bouteque Firm, over the Majors... I've decided.

I've had representation spanning over 10 years for one Divorce related issue or another hailing from 3 of the top 5 Divorce and Family Law firms here in Chicago. All have multiple partners, and dozens of associates. To support them they have minions of paralegals building exhibits and articulat...ing motions. My court case wasn't over the top as far as cases go but all the same the money I spent was considerable. In reviewing bills over the years, it always seemed like fees were generated almost as if there were a monthly billables quota regardless of dates or no dates on the docket. It wasn't until recently hiring David Frumm from Frumm & Frumm that I finally was able to attribute billed hours to specific results. Their billing is comprehensive, its timely, and very fair as far as phone calls- emails - and court time is concerned. I'm not saying by any stretch that these folks are "cheaper", I am on the other hand saying that with their small size comes efficiencies that have proven both cost effective, and productive at the same time.

Fierce ally

David is a kind, compassionate and fierce ally. He's committed to doing right by his clients, involved, engaged, kind and present. He's super smart and willing to go the extra mile. He thinks outside of the box, and believes in his heart that what is best for the kids is the best thing for the all co...ncerned. Anyone who hires David from Frumm & Frumm is lucky to have them their side. I hired Frumm & Frumm in 2012 and since then most all divorce related issues are now behind me. I have received all appropriate support and maintenance now for 12 consecutive months which is 11 more months than when I didn't have David representing me. I am pleased to say while the money spent isn't fun, it sure is more than worth it.

Before hiring another attorrney to handle your divorce, please consider this...

If I've heard one divorce horror story, I've heard them all. Today, in speaking with a long time customer of mine who I didn't even know she was separated; she told me of all the difficulties she has had in finding and hiring a quality Divorce Lawyer on the north shore of Chicago. I could just feel... the exasperation in her voice as she described all the times she had to re- explain her story over the years. Lawyer after lawyer... Firm after Firm in a divorce and custody battle spanning almost 10 years. Hearing this I was immediately appreciative for the Firm that has represented me since day one. David Frumm has been my lawyer for only a third of that time, but never once have I considered using anyone else. I hired David on a recommendation myself and have personally thanked that person ever time I've seen them. David handled my divorce from start to finish: initial filing, property division, enforcement of the property division, separation of a trust, business evaluation and final settlement. What could be handled out of court David took it upon himself to make sure it was resolved out of court. What had to go to trial, was significantly more costly however favorable outcomes come at a price.

"David Frumm has all the noble and notable qualities of any family law practitioner. Diplomatic yet unrelenting; knowledgeable yet unpretentious: very aggressive, yet courteous. He fights for clients like no one I know. Whether he is fighting for custody for his clients or negotiating sophisticated financial disputes. He just gets the job done. I am proud to call him a fellow member of the legal community and a mentor as well. He is the perfect family law practitioner to bounce your strategy ideas off of. He tells you how it is, knows the law, and is an excellent reader of people. I have come to know David throughout the years; first observing him inside the courtroom, then getting to know him outside as well. He is a man of tact, compassion, and principle. Anyone that can run a half-marathon every Sunday, while working 24 hours-a-day (devoting his life to his clients), is someone that I admire. Great choice if you are looking for a lawyer that will be there for you."
