It isn't often you find genuine concern in dealing with Family Law Firms - Frumm and Frumm is the exception

My life has been dictated to by the Cook County Illinois family court system since July 2007. During this time, I had 1 "less than impressive" firm for my initial divorce, and 4 since dealing with post decree matters. David Frumm of Frumm & Frumm is the fifth firm of my experience and they have re...presented me for over 18 months. Regarding his work on my behalf, I couldn't be more pleased. The end result is truly what matters right? I can soundly say I am better off this year than I have been over the last seven. Rated here are trust, response, knowledge, and communication. What isn't rated is personal concern and result. David and Scott Frumm have not only been the most genuinely concerned lawyers I have come across, they are the most productive I have had over my 88 month saga. Have you ever spent time in an attorneys office where you have talked for hours yet your point seems to be always missed, or worse, the attorney gets over whelmed in the details and just ignores them? I have, and on more than one occasion have lost a day in court when the facts if presented would have turned the tide. My current representation is different. The minute you feel that one detail that was ever so important was missed by David, just wait. Wait until he argues on your behalf. Wait until he not only reverberates your point exactly, but applies his decades of experience in a spin that wins as much as it impresses. You'll see why I chose him, and why will I recommend no one else.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"David Frumm has all the noble and notable qualities of any family law practitioner. Diplomatic yet unrelenting; knowledgeable yet unpretentious: very aggressive, yet courteous. He fights for clients like no one I know. Whether he is fighting for custody for his clients or negotiating sophisticated financial disputes. He just gets the job done. I am proud to call him a fellow member of the legal community and a mentor as well. He is the perfect family law practitioner to bounce your strategy ideas off of. He tells you how it is, knows the law, and is an excellent reader of people. I have come to know David throughout the years; first observing him inside the courtroom, then getting to know him outside as well. He is a man of tact, compassion, and principle. Anyone that can run a half-marathon every Sunday, while working 24 hours-a-day (devoting his life to his clients), is someone that I admire. Great choice if you are looking for a lawyer that will be there for you."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
