She was able to assess my lifestyle, assets and finances, and then Nicole guided me slowly through the process of creating my living trust. At the end of each of our meetings, she gave me a list of tasks to complete before our next meeting. Nicole realized that I work best with specific deadlines, and that approach worked very well. I was able to move forward through this process in steps that allowed me to thoughtfully consider the decisions I needed to make and to do so within a reasonable amount of time. Nicole patiently guided me down this path, and it turned out to be a totally stress-free and very pleasant experience.  I am extremely satisfied and relieved that my living trust is complete. Nicole is a professional who works ONLY in her clients best interest. Many opportunities arose for which Nicole could have easily suggested/proposed that additional work be performed, however Nicole clearly cut to the chase and explained that although it would be possible for additional work to be p...erformed related to certain aspects of the case, it would be likely that any additional benefits realized would be less than the additional legal fees associated with the same.

We have had the pleasure of working with Nicole on two occasions. Last year she walked us through an estate/trust planning process and helped us navigate the complexities of Illinois tax laws. What separates Nicole from other professionals I have worked with is her proactive nature. When there were a...ctions or items she could take off our plate she did. If there were things only we could do, she kindly helped remind us of what we needed to do and how to do it. This allowed us to develop, review, and finalize our trusts in a relatively short-time period. A year later, we retained Nicole as our real-estate attorney for a dual-agent real estate transaction. While we initially were recommended an attorney by our real estate agent, my wife and I decided it would be beneficial for us to retain a completely independent attorney that had no ties to the real estate agent in order to ensure our best interests were represented. I could have not been more pleased with the result. Nicole elegantly navigated tense moments and helped us to keep the deal alive when it could have easily fell apart. While some real estate attorneys are interested in closing as many deals as possible in the shortest amount of time, Nicole took the time to help us think strategically about how to best proceed when challenges came up. To sum up her impact on the deal, after our closing our real estate agent said, "that was one of the smoothest closings I have had in a long time." If there are life events and attorney needs, Nicole will be our first call.

We hired Nicole to represent us for a recent real estate transaction and she went above and beyond for us, helping to make this a smooth and seamless process.
