Biography
A licensed attorney since 2005, I have been representing clients in Divorce and Family Law for over 10 years. The Law Office of Jeffrey R. Esser was founded in 2011 to provide clients with personalized solutions for their legal issues.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Classics from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, I earned a law degree from the University of Southern California. I am licensed to practice law in Illinois and concentrate my practice on contested and uncontested divorce, child support services, wills and trusts, and prenuptial agreements.
Because I believe everyone should have access to a competent attorney, I take on pro-bono cases through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, and have earned CVLS’s Distinguished Service Award in 2010 and 2012.

Uncontested Divorce
Jeffery was first of all open-minded about my situation and is someone that I would truly recommend. He didn't make assumptions and he really listens to your situation. He helped me out a lot and was responsive when it was time to meet to handle my case. Im very rewarded to have him as my lawyer.
