We represent consumers in class litigation to expose and remedy unlawful corporate practices. One of our specialties involves suing Illinois based companies that obtain biometric information (fingerprints, voice and eye scans) without your written consent.

We sue companies that bombard you with unsolicited robo calls and pre-recorded messages. The TCPA provides for $500 to $1,500 for each unlawful robo call and/or pre-recorded message. We also enforce the National "do not call list".

We help negotiate reduced payments if you suffer from hardships or where we can argue that a debt collector may have violated a part of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

We represent private and public employees in matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, unpaid wages and harassment.

Vlahakis for the WIN!!

First off, I just want to start by saying James exceeded my expectations. He was clear on the process and told me what to expect as far as the process taking time. Every time I emailed him, I got a response. When I called, he answered. Very personable and explained things without being condescending ...(legal things I wouldn’t understand) James was very thorough and worked diligently to produce the outcome we got. His communication throughout was unmatched. He made me feel at ease knowing that he was ACTUALLY working on it and not leaving my case on a back burner. His confidence was reassuring and his knowledge of the legalities of the case had me confident as well. Excellent long term support through a long term case

I contacted James in early 2018 regarding a class action/consumer protection case against a major retailer/manufacturer. I became a class representative and I knew from our first conversations that James was a lawyer that understood what I was going through and that he was going to have the tenacity ...to see this case through to the end. Little did we know that it was going to take over five years to reach the conclusion of the case!
