I had the same experience with him as the other 1-star reviews. When I told him my lawyer vanished a month before a trial after paying him $30,000, this guy was tripping over himself to take the case. Then he found out the lawyer did not have malpractice insurance. When I finally could reach him, he ...said he would take the case, but I would have to pay him by the hour. In other words, he would be happy to take thousands of dollars from me for a case I could never collect on. It sounds like this "Ethics and professional responsibility lawyer possesses neither of these traits. This industry sure has a lot of thieves.

When I asked questions (questions about areas he says that he specializes in) he became frustrated and answered them in a way that came off as if I was bothering him. He was supposed to call me back to let me know if he would take the case but I had to call him because he wasn’t calling me back. He... interrupted me when I tried explaining what he was not understanding. He decided that I don’t have a case told me good luck and hung up on me while I was still talking. I was just trying to explain that I already have a lawyer so I do have a case, unfortunately, the attorney is too far for me.

I contacted this firm to take over our case. He said he needed to review our case and would get back to me. This was two weeks ago. I sent him 2 emails with no response and called him again. He again said he is reviewing it and would get back to me. That was a week ago. He just emailed me TODAY... telling me he does not want the case. Well thanks a lot for the notice!!! I had to have my new counsel file an appearance by TOMORROW! Glad I didn't put all my eggs in his basket. If this is any indication how he handles his cases......beware!

He provided excellent legal and emo...tional council throughout this process. We won the Federal case by dismissal with prejuidice against an attorney from a much larger Chicago law firm. The Civil Court case followed supported by the findings from the Federal Court judge. I believe I may be the only defendant to ever be hugged by a Federal Judge as the result of Ed Clintons preparations for the court room. He did all of this on a budget that did not break the bank.
