Biography
David Abels is a partner at Abels & Annes, P.C. concentrating in personal injury, auto accident, work injury, premises liability and wrongful death cases. He has successfully collected millions of dollars for his clients and has focused on handling personal injury cases for the past 20 plus years.
Dave was born in Chicago and raised in Evanston, Illinois. He Graduated from Evanston Township High School in 1987. In 1991, he received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. In 1994, he received his juris doctor from the John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois.
After graduating from law school, Dave joined The Henry County State's Attorney's Office, in Cambridge, Illinois. There he prosecuted traffic, misdemeanor and felony cases. He tried numerous bench trials and over 20 jury trials while working at the State's Attorney's Office.
After leaving the State's Attorney's Office, Dave returned to Chicago and worked at a criminal defense firm. There he mainly worked on defending felony cases in Cook County, Illinois.
In 1997 he joined a personal injury law firm in the Loop area. At that time Dave became a fierce advocate for accident and injury victims and he has been fighting insurance companies ever since.
In 2008, David joined up with Gary Annes to form the law firm of Abels & Annes, P.C. The firm has had a great run so far with a long list of six and seven figure settlements.

Fabulous results on my auto accident case!
Fabulous results on my auto accident case! I sustained knee, shoulder and back injuries after a driver rear-ended my vehicle.
