One of the most frustrating aspects of working with Melvin Sims was his utter lack of communication. Updates on my case, which were crucial to my peace of mind and planning, were rarely, if ever, communicated in a timely manner. Days turned into weeks, and I was left in the dark, anxious and uncertai...n. This isn't just about poor service; it's about the added emotional stress during an already challenging time. First Off, Just want to thank him for everything he has been doing throughout the process of the eviction. Me and my wife were more than grateful for his efforts and services to us. Very attentive and patient with everything he has done. Has made sure we felt comfortable and unworried about any s...ituation that came about. Communicated every-time we were either confused or misunderstood anything. We just cant thank him enough; Just wanted to give you gratitude and encouragement to keep doing everything you do! He took my case and a ton of my money and didn't show up in court at all. Do not use, he dramatically ruined me. He is a theif. The right thing in his heart for him to do is give me my money back he stole. He has no problems stealing from a single mother. Karma will show up day for him.. Read this Me...lvin and understand you hurt me and my son. Do the right thing.

I had the misfortune of working with him. He convinced me that because he was representing me that I did not have to come to court and he will show. I found out via a second law and on the transcripts he never showed to court. The new law and I filed a complaint against him with the ARDC. I also foun...d out many people was filing complaints against him. Luckily, he had to give me money back for not showing up in court. He’s a conman and I do not recommend him at all!!!!

While other lawyers were only promising me time to leave and were hopeless of getting the eviction sealed, Attorney Melvin Sims sincerely and faithfully fought back, countersued, waiving 4 and a half months rent AND 2 months time to move out r...ent free, SEALED the eviction AND won 1750! He had humbly only requested only a few hundred dollars for all of his sincere, genuine hard work. Way to go, Melvin!
