Randall A Pentiuk

Randall A. Pentiuk is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Detroit College of Law, graduating third in his class and serving as an editor on Law Review. His undergraduate degree was awarded with distinction from Wayne State University's School of Business Administration where he majored in Accounting. He served as a Research Attorney in the Michigan Court of Appeals before entering private practice in 1981. Since then, he has continuously represented local governments.

Randall Pentiuk currently serves as City Attorney for the City of Riverview, City Attorney for the City of Allen Park, and Special Counsel for the City of Taylor. Additionally, he served as Corporation Counsel for the City of Melvindale from 1991-2011. He is also legal counsel for Housing Commissions in Melvindale, Taylor, Jackson, and Royal Oak Township; the Downriver Community Conference and the Downriver Mutual Aid; and the South Huron Valley Utility Authority. He served as Assistant City Attorney for Gibraltar in the eighties.

He is a member of the State Bars of Michigan, Illinois, and the District of Columbia Bar. He was admitted to practice in all levels of the federal court system, including the U.S. Supreme Court. Among his professional memberships are: the American Bar Association (ABA), the International Municipal Lawyers Association (IMLA) where he served as Chairman of the Litigation Section, the National Association of Parliamentarians and the Municipal Attorneys of Michigan Association (MAMA). Mr. Pentiuk has been named a “Michigan Super Lawyer”, a recognition awarded to the top 5% of Michigan attorneys. Mr. Pentiuk has earned the Client Distinction Award from Martindale-Hubbell and – a distinction accorded to less than 1% of the 900,000+ attorneys listed on and .
