Pro: He knows about the local legal system and how rulings could be formed based on the person reviewing the case. This is initially how he lured me in, just shoving a bunch of information in my face from local judges and how they tend to rule. If I had known then what I know now I would not have ch...osen him but for this reason he does get 2 stars rather than 1 star. Con: We were not prepared at all. I had only really met with his paralegal Evelyn and I had given her a Document of interest that had dates written down of all the times our stipulation had been breached. Some of them were major breaches and I can't help but feel like my choice of attorney played a major role in the outcome. He planned for court to only go one way and when the commissioner decided to rule the case another way we were like fish out of water. Without that document I had given to his paralegal I was forced to try and cough up instances from memory and it was embarrassing to me!! My previous attorney (who no longer does custody cases which was why I needed a new attorney) asked me to give her ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that could pertain to our case and she would use whatever she could. This time I figured I would be helpful and present them with the most important dates and summaries of what happened and the attorney just ignored them. He did get back from a 2 week vacation just before our court date so I'm sure he just forgot about it.
