Debra is a a great honest, strong, straight forward, warm hearted person. She guided me throughout my case listening to all of my concerns and explaining all the details. She never cuts corners and kept me notified with everything throughout the process. I felt confident during my case and never comp...romised. She answered all of my questions promptly with a great attitude and continues to give me legal advice. I've heard many horror attorney stories and working with Debra has been with great ease. Her team is strong and very dedicated. I highly recommend Debra. She will settle your case with great skill and assist you with everything she can. She is one of the top lawyers in this country with a great heart.

Going through a Divorce was hard enough, but the best decision I could have ever made was hiring Debra! She fought every step of the way for me and my children, and I am forever grateful to her. She knows the law, knows how to make things happen, and got me what I needed. I would recommend her to any...one, except my ex-wife. If you are looking to retain a lawyer, hurry and get her before your Ex does first. Unfortunately my divorce got ugly and Debra was able to keep things civil, and worked with the attorneys in order to make sure that everything was facilitated properly. I met with Ms DiMaggio when I first moved to Chicago to seek legal counsel about child custody matters. She welcomed me into her office, and spoke to me at length about my circumstances. She advised me NOT to seek custody modification, even though that meant obviously not hiring her. A year later my ...situation changed and I decided to pursue sole custody. Ms DiMaggio remembered my case, even though I had met with her only once, and took my case. Throughout the process she was kind, compassionate, supportive and helpful. I highly recommend her.

"Debra blew through a great deal of my money without speaking to me or letting me know what she was doing. It was a complete disaster. I don't know how Debra DiMaggio keeps clients. She is impersonal, arrogant and irresponsible with her clients." I have to now get rid of her and hire another attorne...y to pick up the pieces. $75,000 later and nothing, 8 months later and nothing. Her webpage does not match the end result more in her pocket way less in mine...go elsewhere.

Fabulous Lawyer, Fabulous Service! Having seen the negative reviews for Debra DiMaggio, I doubt their veracity. This is why the negative reviews are PATENTLY FALSE (likely, not posted by ACTUAL clients): Though I believe that an attorney might get a consistent 5 star rating, my being familiar w...ith Miss DiMaggio's knowledge and ethics it would be impossible to give a 1 star rating. I first employed Miss DiMaggio's legal services about 4 or 5 years ago* and have continued to use her services when the occasion presented itself as I will explain. Having never been married and, therefore, not seeking a divorce I, nonetheless, required attorney services. Miss DiMaggio has saved me more than 10 thousand dollars in a single litigation. I have recommended Miss DiMaggio to three friends all seeking divorce. Though I am not privy to the details with respect to any proceedings, each of my friends has spoken glowingly of Miss DiMaggio. The friend I referred most recently reported to me how impressed he was with the scope and depth of her knowledge particularly, as compared with the attorney he was first going to use. Oh, the two other friends have suggested that we ALL get together for dinner, such is Miss DiMaggio's charm! Finally, I'm not going to hide behind merely using my first name.
