I met with Ms DiMaggio when I first moved to Chicago to seek legal counsel about child custody matters. She welcomed me into her office, and spoke to me at length about my circumstances. She advised me NOT to seek custody modification, even though that meant obviously not hiring her. A year later my ...situation changed and I decided to pursue sole custody. Ms DiMaggio remembered my case, even though I had met with her only once, and took my case. Throughout the process she was kind, compassionate, supportive and helpful. I highly recommend her.

Debra DiMaggio met me once for 30 seconds and then handed me over to an overworked associate who was completely unprepared every time I met with her or we went to court. The first time I met with the associate she sat there reading over my information for the first time. She couldn't even remember my... name and had no idea what my case was about. Debra blew through a great deal of my money without speaking to me or letting me know what she was doing. It was a complete disaster. I don't know how Debra DiMaggio keeps clients. She is impersonal, arrogant and irresponsible with her clients. I had to get rid of her and hire another attorney to pick up the pieces.
