Biography
Attorney Scurto has developed an outstanding reputation as one of the most trustworthy and results-driven family lawyers serving Cook, Dupage, Kendal and Will counties.
Attorney Scurto has helped her clients successfully resolve divorce, child support, and other family law issues.
Scurto served in the US Army before earning her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, and later her Masters of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, both from Elmhurst College. She completed her Juris Doctor degree from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
Scurto was named to the Illinois bar in 2004, the U.S. District Court Northern District of Illinois in 2005, and the U.S. Supreme Court in 2009. She is currently a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Association, the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, the Pi Gamma Mu National Honor Society, and American Chemical Society.
Honors: Top 100 National Black Lawyers; Pi Gamma Mu National Honor Society.
Prior to being named to the 2017 and 2018 Illinois Super Lawyer lists -an honor which no more than 5% of attorneys in a state may receive- Scurto was named to the 2010 and 2012 Illinois rising Star lists. The Rising Star list recognizes no more than 2.5% of attorneys in each state.
